The Peruvian Philosophy Olympiad returns in 2026 as a national space for high school students to explore philosophy through reflection, argumentation, and essay writing.

Organized by the Scholar Society of Thoughts, PPO invites students from across Peru to engage with philosophical questions about knowledge, ethics, politics, identity, society, and the challenges of our time. 

The Olympiad seeks to make philosophy more accessible while maintaining academic rigor and encouraging original thought.The 2026 edition will bring together students, teachers, volunteers, and academic allies in a process designed to recognize young philosophical talent and strengthen critical thinking in Peru. 

Participants will be challenged to write, question, interpret, and defend ideas with clarity and depth.PPO also serves as a pathway for Peru’s participation in international philosophical spaces, connecting national student talent with broader academic dialogue beyond the country.
